A glorious day on the water!
Well, what a treat we had last Friday, a wonderful trip out on Knoticat with guests joining us from Diverse Abilities. We took a slightly different route to usual and rather than taking the small ships channel out towards Studland and Old Harry Rocks, we took the slightly quieter, but definitely just as beautiful route round the islands of Poole Harbour. Passing Furzey Island, Green Island, and coming back round Brownsea Island, it felt as if we had the water to ourselves. The water was so calm and blue and the sun so warm, it felt as if we could have be in the Med!.
It was a pleasure to host all our ladies on board, and we hope to see you all again very soon. Don’t forget, anyone reading this, if you have someone who could benefit from a trip out on Knoticat with our team of volunteers, we would love to hear from you.
Whether wheelchair bound, or with limited mobility, we are here to try and ensure we can support as many disabled individuals (and their carers) to get out on the water this summer. So, please get in touch, it would be our pleasure to have you on board.
