Knoticat sails into the sunshine

On Thursday 10th April, the Knoticat team headed up by Chairman Richard Monaghan set sail on a sunny morning to make one of it’s first trips of the seaon.

With four passengers on board, we headed out of Poole Harbour towards Old Harry Rocks. There was a nice buzz about the harbour with both sail boats, commercial tour boats and the odd Sunseeker heading out in search of calm seas and sunshine.

We welcomed on board Cheryl, Mike, Tracey and Chris, who were happy to be out on the water, and with a packed lunch by their side and a flask of hot tea, were happy to take in the views and let the Knoticat team of Richard, Paul, David, Gary and Julie do all the hard work.

The conditions were just right for us to have the opportunity to unfurl the sails and enjoy the feeling of moving across the water purely powered by the wind!
