Knoticat undergoes some improvements for wheelchair users

A big “Thank You” to “Elite Fabrications” who kindly sent their engineers to meet us at the boat last Wednesday to fit an improved access ramp to Knoticat. By making this improvement, it will allow us to extend the length of our access ramp which will in turn reduce the angle of the ramp making it easier and more comfortable for wheelchair users to come on and off the boat.

Fitted easily and quickly by “Elite Fabrications” two lovely engineers , we tested it this week and it certainly made access smoother when tested by Richard our Chairman.

Our first training trip of the season saw us battle through dense fog after a very sunny first part of our trip. However, we managed to test out some upgraded electrics on board and unfurl the sails, in readiness for our first passenger trip.
