The benefits of volunteering!

Much has been written about why volunteering can be good for the soul! With a variety of research projects concluding that volunteering is good for you, it’s worth looking at why, especially if any of our Knoticat followers on either the website and/or social media are considering getting involved.

Research suggests that by involving yourself in activities that benefit others, volunteers can expect to see an improvement in their social, mental and physical health. Sounds great, but why? From research sampled, it has shown that volunteers have noted a sense of belonging, enjoyment, learning skills that they might not otherwise have learnt and being able to give back to others.

If that sounds like something that might be of interest to you, then please reach out to the Knoticat team and see if volunteering could be for you. Richard Monaghan can be contacted on either 07890 285356 or via email at richardmonaghan18@gmail.com.

The team would be delighted to hear from you!
