Can anyone sail on Knoticat?

This is a question we get asked a lot, and it’s one that we love to answer!

The Sports Forum for the Disabled operates out of Poole Harbour, and our wonderful converted catamaran “Knoticat” is set up so that it can take disabled individuals and their carers for “hands on” sailing experiences.

If you have never tried sailing before, we would love to welcome you on board.

A trip on “Knoticat” with our team of dedicated volunteers will allow you to be outside in the fresh air, meet other people and if you feel like getting involved, we will also get you on the helm when we are out at sea.

We find that sailing is great for mind, body and soul, not only for the disabled but also as an opportunity for their dedicated carers to have a time out.
